Bringing Ecosystem Thinking to a Fitness Startup

XO partnered with Beyond Pulse to create a campaign for their direct-to-consumer partner promotion. Beyond Pulse was already a successful partner with several large soccer institutions, making them reliant on others for access to sales channels. The Covid pandemic created a new sense of urgency to establish marketing channels under their own control.

We consulted with Beyond Pulse to create a communication strategy that leveraged their existing assets into a connected content campaign and nurturing path for email distribution directly to customers.

Creating a Nurture Path

Beyond Pulse had several initiatives running concurrently – including gamified programs, discounts with partners, and offers for multiple audiences. We created new messaging and refined visual creative that tied each program together in a logical flow, supported by expert how-to’s and customer testimonials, and interspersed with offers. This modular approach lays a foundation for the initial campaign, but also creates the structure that can be followed and customized based on new content that becomes available and market responses.
