Brand Refresh and Web

Quality Care for All

XO partnered with Mosaic Medical for a comprehensive brand refresh and website relaunch. Mosaic Medical is a Central Oregon based care provider that focuses on broadening access to quality healthcare. We began our partnership exploring a new name for a future release – Mosaic Community Health – as well as consulting with executive teams on refinements to their core mission and vision for the organization.

The visual identity creation process involved stakeholders across the organization, bringing their input of what the mosaic symbol means, and how it can be refreshed for the future. Through an iterative process of wide exploration, we arrived at a solution that resonated with staff, was relevant to the community, and inspired all for what was to come.

A robust new digital presence

The website was created in tandem with the brand, through XO’s rapid prototyping process. In the words of Mosaic:

The site offers both our patients and the general public the ability to access information, like our locations — we have 15 locations throughout central Oregon. One of the most highly used areas of our site is the information on our providers, doctors, and nurses. People can look up our providers by practice, time, name, or location. The search function is now much more robust and user-friendly than it was. Our site goes into a lot of detail on the services that we offer in our different locations as well. XO helped flesh out the donor and job opportunities sections of the site as well.  

 

One of the most important steps was that they set up the site so that it automatically translates every page into Spanish. Previously, we only had a few pages in Spanish. This was a major step for us.

Website Design and Build

In addition to an extensive kit of launch collateral and guidance, XO created a completely refreshed website as an extension of the brand work. Prioritizing access to underserved communities, the new site offers multi-language support and easy navigation to clinics, providers, and important health information.

XO uses a proprietary design approach called XO Spark, which allows for the rapid creation of a live review site inside the brand creation phase, to see how the brand will be experienced by the end audience. This approach launches the site with best practice UX while minimizing time and budget – a key factor for non-profits.
